The Republican Club of Lakeland is dedicated to Republican men and women in the Lakeland area who gather to promote the principles of good government.
Republicans have always been the Party of fresh ideas and new thinking. Our Club encourages debate on the major issues of our day, and we will consistently act in accord with the greatest values of our country – freedom and opportunity for all.
We work to learn more about the philosophy and initiatives of the Republican Party and to recruit and support its candidates. We are dedicated to growing an organization that will better the community, the state and the nation in which we live.
On September 1st we had our September meeting. Republican for US Congress Dennis Ross was our main speaker but before he spoke we were reminded by a few candidates who lost their races the importance of party unity. Lynn Wilson and John Hall, both whom had lost their primary race, gave their support to their fellow Republican and asked that we do the same.
